I thought these wheels were a nice fit :)
On IG, I’m a part of a ‘crew’ and many of us used to write (graffiti). I, myself, wasn’t nearly as prolific (one mural) but I always had an interest in cartooning, calligraphy, and art overall. So, I had the idea to pass around one of these Greenlight trucks. It’s been state to state, but still has a few more to go! I…
Write me a ticket, why dontcha?
I recently received two GT3 RS models and two Bentley GT cars (saving those for later) from Sparky, and I love em! However, I also ruined a Majorette 918 Spyder Prototype while trying to add detail, so I decided I would grab another one (aaaaand i messed that up, too. can you tell??) and the ruined one would become…
I had to have this!
I’ve been having fun with Duplicolor metalcast paint lately, so once I opened up a Majorette Vision GT car I had an idea: spray metalcast directly over the factory silver paint for a deep candy red, add some sweet wheels and slam it. Here’s the result!
I prepared so well for days 1-3 that it’s shameful how badly I got caught on day 4. So here is a Majorette BMW E61 that is in line to be customized at some point. So far it has only been lowered a little bit.
We have some great guests lined up, but they are upcoming, so Ryan, Lloyd, and I are going to record an episode tonight. We’d love your questions. Our topics are going to be:
I spent the day working in Washington DC today. During a break I walked over to the Capitol and took some pictures of my new Majorette Mk 7 Golf GTI. In some past photos I noticed the paint was sort of dull. It didn’t get any better with sunlight.
I stopped by Toys R Us again and picked up less than $10 in cars. The first one is the Matchbox 1969 Cadillac Seville pictured above. My dad had this car when I was I was little.
I was thinking about featuring some Vipers I had but then saw all the Viper posts and decided on this Lamborghini Huracán Avio instead:
Hit a couple of thrifts today and found this one bag that had a lot of goodies
This little beast is a Deluxe Collection Porsche 911 Turbo in 1:64 scale from Majorette, it’s been in my collection for over a decade, the details on this guy are amazing, I simply love the contrast of the black bits against the silver paint and the classic shape of a rolling work of art :)
Sorry to interrupt the Car Week madness! This is just a quick HAWL update before a big vacation that will hopefully involve some major die-cast purchases. That HAWL will definitely need its own post.
First off, a couple of fantastic 1/43s. The Mazda prototype is a Spark and the Inetegra is from a brand called…
I am told that when floods hit Majorette’s manufacturing plants in Thailand a few years ago, they were manufacturing in China to tide over the capacity shortfall. While there is no record of these models being manufactured in China during that period, but I keep finding loose Majorettes on Aliexpress and that is the…
Alpine Gran Turismo Vision Concept by Majorette, a nice little beast :) The tampos are very nice.
Swamped with work sandwiching a weeklong vacation, I came across this post on Instagram. Call me biased, but that AMG-GT looks rad!
The Jeep Cherokee nameplate may be closely associated with the Jeep XJ-chassis offered from 1984-2001, but the name itself was first used on this, a version of the SJ Wagoneer. This is Majorette 263, the Jeep Cherokee SJ.
While cruising through the isle of a Wal-Mart the other day it struck me just how many different 1/64th scale cars are out there. The “Hot Wheels isle” is LOADED with cars ranging from the basic .94 cent Hot Wheels line, all the way up to the $6 AutoWorld castings — and everything in between. I noticed that the most…
