The McLaren P1 by Hot Wheels, I saw this casting on the pegs not so long ago but in a different color (a bronze kind of color I think), I really didn’t like it in that color. The yellow version really pops, the contrast with the black bits is really nice. This one will really look good alongside my Lego Speed Champs…

I’ve had this one in primer for a few months now. Most of my attention was spent on my diorama, but I did a batch of detailing on Saturday and felt like finishing this McLaren up yesterday. The weather was good, so I was able to paint it, detail it, and clear-coat it yesterday afternoon.
We all hate the plastic roof, right? Right! I couldn’t stand it on my silver P1 so I grabbed my trusty silver Sharpie and got to work.
