This here is the only Le Mans prototype casting made by Schuco in 1:66 scale - the Porsche 917.
Specifically the 1982 24hr of Le Mans GTO class winner. Teutonic Tuesday.
Always love that Mini SL, the 190SL. The R121 was presented as an attractive, more affordable alternative to the exclusive Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, sharing its basic styling, engineering, detailing, and fully independent suspension.
Late for the party, finally a new cast/shoot! This is tiny, it’s a 1/87 by Spark.
Trying to stay Kool on this hot summer day... Oh, and it’s Teutonic Tuesday!
With Radcast and its sister event for 1:1 cars, Radwood, coming up this weekend, it was high time to make sure the participants are ready roll and ready to shine.
Still recovering from an overload of automotivity last weekend. Celebrating the win for Toyota a bit, but for Porsche’s GT-class win a bit more. Curious what will happen with LMP1.
Jobjoris posted a post on photo posting app Instagram recently, comparing a Minichamps 1:64 997 to a TLV 1:64 911S, remarking why the Minichmaps didn’t appear to be way bigger than the TLV, since the early Neunelfers were indeed a ton smaller in stature than the modern Porkers. Pun fully intended.

Since I don’t have much time, here’s a few shots of the Matchbox Superfast BMW Z8.
Some of my favourite castings are Schuco’s vintage 1:43s and 1:66s, and this is the BMW 520 of the E12 generation.
Testing out my new Pixel 2 with some Beetles. I understand Philipilihp is doing the same, Beetle photo battle! My old LG suffered the Bootloop of Death, and I had a mind to just get a flip phone and forget phone smartiness and interwebbing, but didn’t want to give up toy car pictures. Or real car pictures. Or kid…
Recently I got my Tomica G. The Gelände. And it’s nice to see the difference with how a SUV has evolved when you put a more recent one next to it. I don’t have MLs or something so I’m gettin out one of the few 1/64 SUVs I have: Minichamps Porsche Cayenne GTS.
