I spotted this little group in an ad for an estate sale so I booked it over after work today. To my delight they still had the group. They had $120 on the group and didnt want to budge on prices just a few hours into the sale. Head hung in defeat I paid for a few items and was about to be on my way when I was stopped…
Here is a car that somehow managed to survive my childhood. A 1/36 scale Corgi WhizzWheels John Player Special F.1.
Travel back with me to the 1980's - a time when men had long beards and Hot Wheels cars had metal bases and bodies. It’s the HW 3-Window ‘34 Ford in ZZ Top “Eliminator” deco.
Here’s a car from my childhood. It obviously has plenty of patina, but still runs and drives well.
Massive picture dump. I sacrificed a number of small animals to appease the Kinja gods. Hopefully this works! Here’s a selection of some of my favourite pictures from the last few months.
Hello again, LaLD! I’ve not posted in quite a while and man, am I excited to share with you my experiences over the past couple of weeks!

Here’s a little Now and Then with some Porsches.
Today’s featured car is Corgi Toys’ #229 Chevrolet Corvair.

A little over 2 years ago, I was looking for cool knick knacks to decorate my first permanent desk, for my first "big boy" job. I stumbled upon the Hot Wheels display at our local grocery store that had just been fully stocked for the holidays, and decided to take a look.
I happened to find this old catalog tucked into a box with one of the cars I'm going to do a Concours d'Modella review on. Here's a few pages of what was hot from Bburago about 12 years ago.
I don't know if anyone's noticed, but we are now officially past the 6-month mark on Liveandletdiecast.com! So yay to us! And over these past 6 months we have seen a ton of great customs. Furthermore, today is Thursday, and all kids these days know that it is tradition to take a look back in time on Thursdays. So…
As a boy I played with cars a LOT, resulting in a nice little childhood collection. Though it definitely looked bigger to me when I was little, it's not too bad!
