I have always loved Amc products. Since I was a little kid, I was always deeply fascinated by their cars. To me they will always be my favorite manufacturer. They were the underdog going up against the big 3 in those days. Things sure didn’t end up pretty for them unfortunately. But they fought until they no longer could. But that is a story for another day. Today I dusted off my 1974 Amc Gremlin casting by Motor Max. I have had this casting for atleast 10 years. A permanent spot on my shelf for a decade. This was a part of their fresh cherries line. It’s 1/24 scale, and is not the most detailed. But if you are expecting Auto Art quality from Motor Max, You are absolutely mad!

It isn’t the Levi’s edition. But it’s blue on blue. So it’s close enough.

Yup! That’s a Amc Gremlin inside!

It just screams a simpler time.

Despite the graininess of my camera phone... I am pretty pleased on how the photos came out.

It even has a roof rack for all of your cargo needs! It doesn’t get anymore 70's than this.....unless somebody has a van model with shag carpet in the back.

Motorax has always had my heart with all of the off the wall Casting’s they produce. I love high end cars like the next guy. But my heart will always be with the goofy stuff. Stuff that goes unappreciated. Like my K car set, it’s all about your connection to the car. And Motor Max has always been able to provide the market with the alternative.
