As the modernized Shakespearean saying goes, which category should I put these 2 cars that I am about to show you as they can be in either one. Here are 2 vintage Tomica from the F (probably stands for Foreign) series. I am glad both are still in decent shape. For the readers who discovered this blog by accident but are not familiar with the title, the term Teutonic means denoting the Germanic branch of the Indo-European language family and both these cars originated from Germany. Tomica is a Japanese brand toy company which produced these models.
First one is the Porsche 911s in gold. This has a black plastic base. This was found in my parents place so it is part of my childhood collection. To me the gold color kind of look almost like a spectraflame or candy color. I tried to take some decent pictures but it didn’t come out the way I wanted it. Hopefully the bad quality does not distract your enjoyment.
Next is the MERCEDES BENZ 450 SEL POLIZEI. This has unpainted metal base. This was also found in my parents place so it is also part of my childhood collection. This one has better picture quality.
