This VW Amarok is yet another nice piece from my iHWEP with Jobjoris. It’s really well done, the metallic brown paint is very nice and the tampos are great.

Here’s an interesting feature I’ve never seen, a retractable trailer hitch. Should work fine with Majorrette trailers, but it probably doesn’t stick out enough to use the MBX trailers I have.

I love the Majorettes from my childhood. I never had a ton of them, but the ones I did have were always among my favorites. They’re quirky, and their sproingy suspension made them fun to play with.

This is the first new Majorette I’ve gotten in roughly 20 years, since they’re no longer sold in the US. The one thing modern diecasts all seem to be lacking, is a sproingy suspension. So I was absolutely delighted to find that this truck has it!! Here it is in action!

I wouldn’t buy a 1:1 Amarok, even if we could get them in the US, but I am pretty dang happy to have this one in my collection. Thanks again Jobjoris!

Now I need to get some more Majorettes!
