I was expecting a Tomica Premium Carrera RS Zwei punkt Sieben today and I was right. So I thought to add some 911 today, a Porker from a brand I usually show French casts from. Norev.

Because Norev 3 Inches come in all kinds of shapes and brands so it was pretty obvious there had to be a Porsche in their lineup as well. No idea how old this one is, it might even be from the actual 997 era. And if you ever read a Norev post from me you might have remembered I adore the wheels on Norevs as they are model specific.

No generic wheels like HW, MBX or SIKU. In this case they might be a tad too small but one clearly recognizes the 997 Carrera S wheels on this one. And to proof it was a Carrera S, not just the wheels, Norev added a little badge.

Just that “e” could be an “a” as well.

But lining it up against a SIKU Wiesmann shows a bit more details. I adore the SIKU Wiesmann but it’s all casted/tampo’d: Norev at least tried to get the headlights right.

The taillights are just painted on but hey: It’s not a TLV or Minichamps64, you pay about 3,50 euros for these. And looking at it’s rideheight it still is meant to be played with anyway.

Not much to tell anymore. Exact maybe for the fact the 997 really was the commercially most successful 911 ever. EVER. Then again, the 991 isn’t on it’s end just yet so we’ll see about that in the end.

And that’s it for today! I’m sure other 911s will follow, it’s Teutonic Tuesday for a reason. Tschüss!
