Today I am sharing an old friend from childhood, a Mercedes C-111 from Hot Wheels

Kind of unusual paint style, but it doesn’t look TOO horrible. The base (metal, which I forgot to photograph) says 1970 on it. It also has a pretty good representation of the transaxle between the rear wheels. these apparently were Wankel-powered, odd for the Germans.

The rear view. Some play wear evident. I seem to recall this was pretty quick down the orange track, so it probably had a few mishaps in the banked turn.

Dem wings. Please ignore the tiny bits of paper used to wedge the doors open, as they no longer stay open on their own.
