The BMW M3 GTR is universally recognised by racing game players of a certain vintage... the full-fat racing version, that is. The homoglation version is somewhat more obscure.

Kyosho did a pretty nice job with this car. Having free-spinning axles certainly didn’t stop them from detailing the wheels impressively.

The carbon fibre “texture” on the roof seems more like netting of some sort instead of carbon fibre. The wing averts this, though.

No M3 badging on the rear, like the 1:1 version, intriguingly.

The panel lines around the bonnet are oddly large, with good reason.

The bonnet opens. Some say it makes the model more toy-like, some say it gives the makers another chance to show off their detailing talents.
