Too much work to be done today, engine week will prove to be hard for me! As is today actually.

I did do my regular Monday evening shoot though so at least there’s some pictures to share.

Of that glorious piece of German engineering: The Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Weil RennSport.

Gifted with 620hp and 700 Nm of luscious torque it’s insane. Top speed 330 km/h and a sprint from 0-100 (0-60) in 3.5 seconds: enough to make the regular 4wd 911 Turbo hyperventilate.

Internal the projekt code 727 was used. This for the record Nissan set with their road legal GT-R on the Nordschleife. Timo Kluck, Porsche test driver, supposedly beat that record by 9 seconds in a GT2 RS.

I’m sure a GT2 RS costs about twice as much as a GT-R, maybe even more. So I’m not sure how impressive that is to me. I haven’t heard any company bragging anymore on those laptimes actually recently, have I?

The model is a 1/43 by Minichamps. I got this one in a riesen hawl: 3 of these in different colors for barely 40% retail. All limited to 500 units. Which is odd as Minichamps usually come in a multiple of 12 for packaging reasons.

Not much to complain about on this one: Just that carbon hood: well not sure if that pattern is accurate in scale so to speak. And that’s it for today: enjoy it to the fullest!

TschĂĽss!

P.S. I forgot who showed the 1/43 Kyosho Lambo Diablo GT-R but mine has that opening bonnet as well, thanks for showing!
