Big things with little cars
Big things with little cars

I’ve had this Mirage (I mean SPACE STAR!) on queue to be photographed for a month or two now but I wasn’t entirely thrilled with how my shots were coming out on smaller diecast. I was using a 18-70mm lens with macro settings but, as Pillarless Coupe pointed out to me, I was doing a lot more tree stump photography than anything. Maybe I haven’t mastered macro shooting but I got my hands on a 18-55mm lens now and decided to give it a whirl on the Space Star and an old favorite blue Cube. I love how tiny cars often come in obnoxious colors. I also took some time to mess around shooting and manually and playing with the exposure settings on my camera as normally I set it to auto and GO.

Space Star might be the coolest name for a car, even if it is a bit of a turd really.
