It’s been a great week.

Highlights on the top row: Porsche 910, Porsche 917, Porsche 935. 2nd row: Porsche 935/78, Porsche 936, 2 1969 Porsche 917s. Bottom row: Alfa Romeo 33, 2 Porsche 917/30s, Mercedes C111

The new Hot Wheels are from a Duane Reade (Walgreens) by work. They usually have just one peg of cars, but they just added an entire endcap. I was able to walk away with these 6 cars, including the Magnus Walker Porsche that I’ve been pining over.

The next acquisition is the pink Matchbox Group 6 Ford, orange Chaparral by Speedy, and the blue Matchbox BRM. I found these at a flea market. At $3 each they were more than I wanted to pay, but in the end I couldn’t say no.

All the rest are from an eBay find. They’re all low budget cars (Xylmex, Summer etc) but predominantly race cars. I adore the 1970's era prototype cars and this lot had it all. These will be some great restoration projects for months to come, and for just $18!
