Here are a few vintage Alfa Romeo's from Matchbox, and probably not the ones that you think.
Here is the Alfa Carabo concept, or #SF75B in Matchbox lingo. This is from the original superfast line in the 70's.
Lovely patina of an original 70's car on that one. This brings me to the next car, also an Alfa Carabo concept, although this time the model designation is #BR21/22.
The only label on the bottom of the car is "Super G.T.," which was an inexpensive marketing lineup for Matchbox. "BR" stood for budget range, and it showed, with the lack of an interior and blacked out windows. However, these were very prevalent in drug stores and whatnot when I was a kid, and bring me right back into the eighties :-)
If only I had the Superfast version to go with #BR7/8, Siva's S160 Spyder...
