This little fella goes straight into the box, DLM is out of the question.
The transmission tunnel is part of the chassis, I’ve seen this before but it looks great here.
On to the updates...carcrazydan738 suggested that since my Morgan didn’t have a windshield, it would make a great rally car. I agree. When the clear coat dries I will X the headlights.
The Cadillac was in need of a little love, so I fixed the front and got rid of that ugly maroon paint.
I’m making some progress on the Americanized police car. This paint job will take a while. Still needs another coat of white, and the lines on the hatch need tightened up. Then comes door graphics (that will be fun).
And now for the Miata update.
Yesterday, I got the body right up to the back of the seats, and got it to close (after hours of sanding on the inside). I’m gonna bring the dash up to the body, instead of pulling the body back to the dash. Deleting the windshield has left a gap that I can get rid of with the dash.
A little sanding today & more weld should bring it up high enough. That’s all I have today. Here’s a shot of the parking lot at the body shop.
Oh, the Ford GT40 will be getting a white with blue stripes paint job. I wish I hadn’t already used this next pic because a Thursday in the Thames would have been funny.
