It’s been a while! I’ve been busy for the past few months due to work and health related issues... But I still have time for diecast hunting (lol)!

Anyhow, here’s one of my recent purchases — a Tomica Limited Vintage Neo: Nismo IDx concept. This version is actually a second release, the car that was displayed on the 2014 North America International Auto Show, which was held on Detroit, Michigan.

I’ve been looking for this model since its release 4 years ago... Luckily, I found this last week on onr of our local hobby shops.

As expected the TLVN lineup, the car is extremely detailed. Many reviewers were blown away by the car’s details, especially the wheel/disc brake part.

The car is supposedly a modern iteration of the Datsun 510, a small, front-engined, rear wheeldrive car from the 60's-70's. The livery is even based on Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) Datsuns that competed on TransAm series in 1971.

The model that I have is the second release. The first release of this model was the “2014 Tokyo Auto Show” version. As far as I can see, the only noticable change between the 2 releases are the boxarts.

As usual, thanks for looking!
