Introduced in 2007, the R35 was the first GT-R that I encountered in the wild. By the time the first GTR showed up in the States, I’d already become a big fan of the Nissan marque, having bought a ‘08 Altima.

In spite of never having the chance (so far) to drive it (or even sit in one), the GT-R is my idea of a halo car. And so, it is one models I will keep adding to meycollection.

The two models featured on this post are from the Tomica andMajorette. While the Majorette GTR (in radioactive green, from the Limited Edition series) is as good (i.e. BRILLIANT) as any other Majorette, I am severely impressed with the Tomica. I am yet to see the TLV versions of the GTR in the flesh, but like the Lotus Exige R-GT I posted a couple of weeks ago, this GTR (minus the basic wheels and the odd looking headlight tampo) from Tomica’s main line would not be out of place in their premium line.
