Hey LaLD! Been a minute since I posted on here. Just wanted to give a quick update on the collection.
First up is the GreenLight #10 Gulf Racing Daytona Prototype. Not gonna lie, I was super stoked about finding one of these, as I had never seen one turn up at any stores in my hometown or at school, and then one just happens to be in the local grocery store, at less than half the price of any of these on eBay. I have heard that the engine cover is supposed to open, but I haven’t had enough time to really figure that out yet...
Next up we have the Hot Wheels Audi RS6! I love the detail to this mainline, and I’m happy I found one. Only issue is...those headlights. Anyone have any ideas?
There was also this really cool DeLorean on the pegs as well. Being a Back to the Future fanboy, it was hard not to pass up.
I also found this Porsche Panamera with a cool police livery. I had seen many of these in gift packs, but I didn’t feel it was a good choice to buy a 10-car pack just to get this. But when I saw it in a signal card, the hawling odds increased dramatically.
I also found these guys with the Gulf Daytona Prototype.
2017 #23 Dr. Pepper Toyota Camry XSE driven by Corey LaJoie in the Southern 500 throwback race that year, (the same race as the #5 Great Clips Chevy SS I have in an earlier post).
2018 #95 ProCore Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driven by Kasey Kahne in his final NASCAR season, and will be driven by Regan Smith this weekend in the finale at Homestead-Miami.
2017 #5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet SS driven by Kasey Kahne. This was his primary paint scheme that season, and is the scheme he used to secure his final race win, the 2017 Brickyard 400 (in incredible fashion too).
2018 #60 iRacing Ford Mustang driven by Ty Majeski in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. It’s a good looking car, but one that’s also known for crashing out...a lot.
But wait there’s more! First are these 2 prototypes, the Shadow II and Cadillac LMP1. Love the green on the Shadow, looks very British Racing Green to me.
Now I have finally gotten 2 Panoz GTR-1s, meaning (I think...?) I have all of the GT1 cars available in 1:64 scale, at least from Hot Wheels. Look for a group picture soon!
Also, I now have 3 variations of the Pikes Peak Celicas. To be honest, I didn’t realize they made it in the white #8. I love that paint scheme, maybe more than the #1. (Also for those of you thinking the #1 Pennzoil Celica got banged up, it didn’t. There are 2 now).
To continue with the Pikes Peak trend, I also snagged this, a Pikes Peak Tacoma. I think this was in the livery driven by Rhys Millen, but I’m not sure. A bit banged up, but still good.
And now a trio of GM racers, the C2 Corvette Grand Sport, the Oldsmobile Aurora GT-S, and the V8 Supercars Holden Commodore! I think the Holden would be an awesome custom with a Red Bull scheme.
And, almost last..anyone know what “birdhouse” is?
But more importantly, best for last...THE ISUZU VEHICROSS!!!!!!!
That is all. For now...
