Volkswagen C-Trek

This 1/18 “adventure” wagon is the Chinese market C-trek is the long roof counterpart to the current generation Bora, also known as the Jetta. Personally, I think the Golf sportwagen is much nicer looking and is easy to see why we did not get this wagon variant over the Golf in the states. The model itself is a Chinese market model, possibly a Paudi and is quite well done. The metallic brown paint shines nicely in the sunlight and I haven’t noticed any zinc pest or orange peel. Some of the shut lines could be a bit tighter, notice the gap between the hood and the fenders. According to the stickering on the tailgate, this car would have a 2.3 litre, turbo’d engine, not a motor I’m familiar with in the VW family.
