After I posted that Monogram Mini Exact on Monday, I was doing a bit of googling to answer some questions a few of y’all had about it. While doing that, I found this amazing piece, in a dark corner of the internet. I thought you all needed to see this brilliant bit of business that was posted over 15 years ago. Reading the text, it turns out to be a custom made by one Ryan Schmitz. Whoever this Ryan fella is, he’d fit right in around here.
This hauler was made by joining a Trident Squarebody Suburban, with a Trident Squarebody pickup. Now, y’all know I love me some Squarebody Chevy. I have always found it amazing, and unjust, that the Squarebody Suburban has never gotten ANY diecast love. I mean, seriously. It’s a gorgeous vehicle that was in production for 19 model years! Well ... WE GOT ONE!!!!!!!! Looks like it’s all HO train stuff, but judging from the variations I found on the googles .... I may have to sell some stuff and go down a rabbit-hole here.
Man, these internets never cease to amaze!
I just finished my last class of the semester. I need to go clean up so I can make like a drum, and beat it for a couple weeks.
