Jada has issued this casting so many times in both 1/64 and 1/24. I actually owned the 1/64 for quite some time and it was my first exposure to the Jada brand. I’m talking about the 1947 Ford Coe. So why didn’t I acquire this previously?
I am not a fan of chopped roof. I am not sure if Jada did this on purpose or not as the 1/64 has the regular roof look. Besides that, most of their former issues have big wheels and low profile tires which made it look more like a customized truck. However this truck came with this set of wheels.
To me this was a big improvement as Jada has never issued the stock truck wheels before on their previous models. It has dual tires at the back instead of extra wide. I’m thinking these wheels are new casting. I commend Jada for doing this. Now if only they will come up with the non chopped roof I will be a very happy camper as I have wanted a flat bed truck in 1/24 for a long time. As of now I’m satisfied with this. Just a note the box omits the word 1/24 scale on it so I wondered if this could be a smaller scale. For now enjoy the pictures.
