Widebody Pontiac Solstice

So, a few days ago fellow member Wheelerguy pointed out to me EL_ULY’s GT3 contest. I was hooked right away and wanted to make a GT3 car.

The rules are to use either a Prius or an Insight or a normal non sporty, non fantasy car. Unfortunately, I only have one Prius and one Insight which I want to leave stock. Looking into my inventory, I was surprised how few “normal” cars I have

So I hit up various stores late yesterday evening in hunt for a really normal car. Have you guys ever noticed that there just isn’t that many “normal” non sporty or super cars available? After scouring 4 stores, I gave up and settled on a Maisto Pontiac Solstice. Yeah, I know it’s sporty. I guess I’m disqualified already. What I really wanted to find was either a Maisto Scion XB or a Fiat 500.

Anyway, it’s a slow day at work today so I had some time to continue GT3-fying this car. Good thing I have a very private cubicle where I can sit and sand the car lol.

This is a sneak peak. Hopefully I’ll finish soon. I added a widebody kit to it so far. The only tool I brought was a small strip of sandpaper. Making do with what I have and using office supplies as tools.
