Big things with little cars

Yesterday I bought the the race winning car before it even started.

So yesterday I attended the second Dover race of the year, and had a blast. Being a lifelong Nascar fan from Delaware. The Dover races are by far my favorite races on the schedule. So this year me and my friend attended both races, and were not disappointed! My favorite driver won in May, and another one of my favorites won yesterday. Martin Truex Jr from New Jersey got himself his second career win at Dover. It was a special day indeed. But before it all happened, I had a few beers and wondered my way into the fan shop and picked his car up. It turned out to be a really cool coincidence. Since the Xfinity series race was rained out the day before. We got to see a double header. 600 miles of Dover fury! Seeing both races was a treat. If anybody saw the bad crash that Justin Marks had in the Xfinity race. My friend and I were sitting directly in front of where he hit. It made everyone in our section stand up in absolute fear. But anyway, if you live on the east coast and love racing in general. I really recommend attending a Dover race... atleast one in your life. It is amazing!

But back to the casting! It’s Martin Truex Jr’s 2016 Furniture Row Toyota Camry by Lionel. It’s a really nice 1/64 casting. I actually think their Toyota casting is more accurate than the Chevy, or the Ford. With his flat black pain scheme, it really makes the car come to life.

Jeff Gordon leading laps. It was cool to witness him lead a few during his last race ever at Dover.
