Picked this little gem last week from a nearby Japanese Surplus store. Unfortunately I have no information about it, except that it is part of a 9-car series of a “Japanese Excellent Car Collection” by ”Lawson Limited” featuring cars from the ‘60s to the ‘90s.

For a car this small, I’m amazed that it has some decent detail, and they even added taillights and black paint on the fenders and grilles.

The blank base does not help in the search for this car’s origins.

The info sheet does not help, too.

Just how small is this thing? Around 4.5 centemeters, or...

... approximately 1.75 inches. As 13 and Jobjoris pointed out, this tiny Hako is around 1/100 scale.

So small that it fits between the wheelbase of the MBX Hako!
